Alertex is a wireless lockdown/critical alert system, not a traditional wired/network-based one. It uses a battery-powered wireless mesh network between units so that when one device is activated (e.g., via a call point or key fob), all units on the same site transmit the alert to each other without wiring. Each unit can act as a repeater to extend range, and the system can optionally connect to a central controller via an IP bridge and PC app for monitoring and control, but its core communication is wireless. It involves Standalone and rapid install: no fixed cabling needed, quick deployment.
